Henderson is such a live dog here guys, he is old but his technique and sheer will is something to behold.
take the Shogun fight, look at all the damage he took and was still able to survive and even prevail.
Jones will probably win, in my opinion a decision, but Henderson will have glimpses in this fight and even possibly; finish this young kid Bones.
what do YOU guys think?

I believe Henderson has a better shot than most people think....

I think the title was confusing and made me wonder why anyone would think benson henderson was an underdog to edgar when he beat him the first time around.
That being said, you saw how hendo looked in the later rounds against shogun, the dude will get tko'd or sub'd in the 4th or 5th if it gets that far.OWE ME reps for life: dcarrera

I like Jones, but I think that at this point only Jones can cause his own defeat. Skill-wise, he craps on the division, but he if becomes over-confident and slacks off, that's where he'll be vulnerable. With that said, I think most people (including myself) are over overlooking Hendo as having a chance. It's kinda like the expectation has become, "okay Hendo, go in there, get a good round 1 in, get subbed, and give your retirement speech, then ride into the sunset like John Wayne". At any rate, if Jones gets caught up in his own hype he may take a fall. Otherwise, he'll find a way to dominate.
It the fight doesn't end by Sub in round 1 or 2, I think it'll be because Jones will drag the fight into round 4 and expect to KO a gassed Hendo.

He could very well get a tko, hendo has been rocked a lot lately and if jbj can catch him and follow up he definitely can. And keep in keep in mind by round five hendo will be exhausted and practically unable to defend which could cause I tko just from that. Imagine jones mounting hendo like shogun did, jbj would stilll have the cardio to finish.

Tons of good replies in here, good opinions guys.
I think old-man Henderson will survive at least 3 rounds.
His stand-up is so under-rated and he will stuff at least 1 Jones TDGuided by the רוח הקודש

I'm not sure about the rest of you guys, but I personally believe Jones is more likely to gas if the grappling is anything close to even.
Jones was super unappealing physically before this camp, and yes he will show up in great shape but that doesn't make the first part of this statement false.
Henderson went 5 grueling rounds with Shogun, and attempted to finish him multiple times and still had the energy to not get finished, and still take the decision.
Jones is a different animal than Shogun yes, but Jones demolished Shogun from the start via flying knee and was still breathing heavy after the TKO (given it was his first championship fight, big stage) you have to weigh the facts.
I personally wasn't impressed with Jones against Rashad aside from the standing elbows (which Jones became obsessed with), and my personal opinion is Henderson would finish Rashad in at least 3/10 meetings (Henderson over Rashad in most that end in decisions too).
I just personally think over-all, Henderson is being over-looked skill wise.
His skills are as good, if not better than Jones....but he will have a bit of height, weight, age and length to make up for.Guided by the רוח הקודש

No doubt his right hand has been his money maker. But if you're his coach, you tell him to stand and trade in the hopes of landing it? He's going to eat a lot of punches AND kicks. At least if he tries to take him down he has the chance of scoring points. On their feet I see Jones taking every round.

He's going to eat a lot of shots regardless. Luckily, that's kinda what he's known for. He's not going to outwrestle Bones, and he's going to run right into the guillotine at some point (yes, I know he's a greco guy). On the feet Jones will outpoint him, but he could also put Jon to sleep.
You're coming at this wrong; Hendo ain't winning by decision.
But he didn't. A guy with incredible accuracy and 60% tko's on his record, CHOSE to go for the choke."The sun is always gonna rise, and always gonna set and I'll just keep on punching because everyday is gonna bring something different and I just want to be ready for it."

No way is Bones going to stand and trade with Hendo for 5 rounds this will be classic Greg Jackson all the way, play it safe. Bones will stay clear of the H-bomb by setting up clinch/takedowns very early, Hendo is going to spend a lot of time on his back and will either be TKO'd or submitted by the 2nd round.
