Does anyone else have this problem when they work out? No matter what I am doing, hot or cold in my gym... they are always showing. I usually wear tanks and of course sports bras. I have a pretty large chest and do not like drawing the extra attention. It makes me feel so uncomfortable. What can I do to minimize it etc.
Thanks for your time.

I thought this was a womens thread... sorry!!
I do not like to be hot while doing cardio and lifting... therefore a thick sweatshirt really isnt an option for me.

my girlfriend either wears several bras or she will tape her nipples down. she has her nipples pierced, so they are very visible if she doesn't.

Have you tried a very slightly lined or very lightly padded sports bra, not to add size obviously, but the extra padding should help conceal it.
Something like this?

OMG Shellbell I have the xact same thing happening to me. I am a D and yea it gets a bit embarassing. However, I generally ignore it hoping others will too. If it really bothers you why not try putting a cotton pad(the round ones) over your nipple in the bra and see if that helps.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing re the cotton pads over each one.
Also, you could buy the pads that nursing mothers use for leaking breasts.

I get this occassionaly - usually when doing lat raises. I stop and distract myself (look out window) and it subsides/relax. I just laugh a bit at myself when it occurs. This even happens when I wear a Champion exercise bra!
As for layers, I cannot work out ina sweat shirt, it just isn't gonna happen!
I do only notice it when I'm wearing a white shirt & exercise bra. So, maybe color helps hide it?The Watchmen

Who cares? If guys are gonna look they're gonna look anyway. I mean really. If you're wearing reasonable workout clothes I wouldn't worry about it. Why on earth do women have to go to extraordinary measures? Because men can't control themselves? That is their problem. We all have boobs. We all have nipples. Nipples poke through men's shirts as well as women's and you don't see them taping, using cotton balls, bandaids, or whatever. Don't let it bother you. If that's not the attention you're looking for in the gym your attitude will reflect it. For the ignorant meatheads, well you have lots of dumbbells to smack them with.

I hear you sista!
I have to wear a padded sports bra plus these little things^^^ Sometimes I wear double bras as well lol!
Well, I have to cover them because they're even a distraction to ME!! LOL! Specially when I'm doing bicep curls... for some reason that's when they 'pop' the most.

I watched a fair bit of the Australian Tennis Open, looks like many sportswomen have this problem. I was so proud.

I had the same problem and my breasts are big too (F cup...don't scream! LOL) but yeah and I wore a sports bra and a shirt with a bra in it and t-shirt on top of that and those bad boys were still poking through! I tried to do the padding stuff but it ended up making my nipples feel raw....so I said to heck with it! Once I stopped focusing on it....I stopped worrying if anyone else was focusing on it. So if nothing else works for you, then I would just say try not to focus on it...as a previous poster said we all have them and we can't escape them

Who cares
I agree. I wouldnt worry about that if it doesnt hurt or is uncomfortable. If you work really hard in the gym, you wont have time or energy to notice, and so should others. I have seen them a lot on swimmers, soccer players, etc. of both sexes. In fact, men have more to worry about things poking through clothing than women. But the fact is that nobody cares except maybe hormonal teenagers, so you shouldnt either. Thats just my opinion.
