    Low Carb Tortillas

So the other day I picked up some La Tortilla Facorty low carb whole wheat tortillas. They have a total of 10g carbs with 7g of fiber. So I am pretty sure that I can fit in 3g of net carbs in my diet, but I was wondering what is other peoples opinion on these.

Avoid them. Although a lot of the low-carb things out there try to convince you that they are, they really aren't.

People have been kicked out of keto with them.
    Like Brutis...you can do dis.

they are great, nothing wrong with a few carbs in a meal, I have burritos with some of the lowest carb beans I could find, add plenty of cheese and sour cream, and it never knocks me out. Or just make quesadillas for a more keto friendly meal.

With all of those things I'd make sure you pay close attention to the servig size used to measure the info. A lot of these products are tricky and look great on the chart, then you realize the 'serving size' is something rediculous like (per 1/2 tortilla) or something stupid like that.

Like Tuna or soups usually give the info based on 1/2 can. Who eats half a can??

It has always been fine for me. Just limit it to one a day and watch your total carb count. It is made of soy flour which is a low carb ingredient. However, soy flour isn't the greatest for your body.

I never had any problem with them when I did keto . . . I used the La Tortilla Factory ones as well. Great for wraps and as others have mentioned, you can even do a pizza with them.
    What . . . you've never heard of a 30-year bulking phase before??

Yeah I had one yesterday with some natty pb with my mid afternoon snack and it was fantastic. True I haven't had any kind of bread product since the end of December which may have attributed.

I will limit my self to 0-1 a day so I won't have to worry about going over 30g of carbs per day. I generally stay in 15-25g range with my normal eat habits of broccoli, cauli, greens, cucumbers, olives, jalapenos, and nuts.
