Every day is a good day when you RUN! :)
Well... Here it is... My first journal.
Basically feel like I'm starting over... Ran 10.5 miles last week and will run 15.5 this week and will start going to the gym again today! Today is also the day that nutrition gets back on track for training goals! Wish me luck and give me your suggestions and input!
Goals -
Lower Body Fat
Increase Muscle Strength
Increased Endurance for my runs, particularly a half marathon in May and beyond
Nutrition -
50% Protein
30% Carbs
20% Fats
1400-1700 calories (depending on miles ran)
Workouts -
Increasing miles ran per week up to 30 through April and beyond (running 5 times a week w/ Monday and Friday "off" days)
Gym time three times per week (Mon, Wed, Fri)
Special attention paid to core training to strengthen running abilities

I just HAD to look
good luck. what is the plan for your gym workout tonight?
Looks like your food intake is right where you want it....as long as you stick to the plan
why varying cals due to how far run? Will you up your carbs on run days or what?

Cool thread. I used to LOVE to run. I'd wish you luck, but it sounds like you have a detailed plan, and everything is in place; you really don't need any luck. Great job!

Around 3 sets of 12-15 usually...
Today... I'm scheduled for a 3 mile run. And, I did run just a "quickie" 1 mile last night just 'cuz I needed it. It wasn't on the schedule so I kept it a quickie!
