Fasting cardio? Myth or something to it?

I make sure that I take my BCAA's and fat burners first thing when I wake up then hit the cardio. I will wait 30 minutes after the cardio then have breakfast (2 cans of tuna and a banana) this morning anyway.

I only do this during contest prep though.
But if your goal is to just get to 10% BF or so I don't think it is necessary to do the fasted cardio. Proper diet and one session of cardio a day would be much more "healthy" especially for keeping muscle mass. IMO of course.

this is a double edged sword...I have found it can be great when you are really having a hard time peeling off some pounds, however, it can also eat away at your muscle...

so as ntrllftr said....take your bcaa's and glutamine before you do it. 10grams bcaa's and 10gram glutamine, plus my special diet pills that I made....and I am a fat burning machine on a empty stomach, LOL

If I do cardio on an empty stomach, my blood sugar drops too low and I exhibit signs of being drunk. I'm beginning (controlled and slowed) stage of Type II diabetes/insulin resistance.
