Collegiate Track Help

Allright, so I came into college at a lifetime high of 173 pounds (5'11"), lifts were highest they have ever been. Since October, I have dropped to 163 on a good day. I can't gain weight, and am having troubles even keeping my weight. Before I came to college I repped 185 12 times in bench, now its my 5 rep. Squat max went up to about 365, clean max went up to 245. I obviously don't need much mass in my chest to jump, but I also am having troubles gaining any strength in my bench back. Any tips? The problem is, I sprint 5 days a week so I think I'm getting some muscle waisting from the excessive cardio. Help!

preworkout drink or snack

muffin apple juice etc

post workout drink
Prefferably protien powder or skim/organic skim milk within 30 minutes after your workout...

and eat your breakfast. There is no excuse to sleep in and miss breakfast.

Every three to four hours you should be eating...don't worry weight means nothing.

My coach told me once "do you want to look good or throw good?" Of course I had to eat more and from that got stronger threw better.

Good luck!

Watch what you eat as well.

People kept on telling me about gaining the freshman 15. I lost 15lbs my first year because I played footy for 3hrs every day.

I really should do the post workout protein shake. I usually go straight to dinner, but I will have a shake, then wait 30min or so and then go to dinner. I have Eggs, some sort of carb and milk every morning. Take my vitamins and BCAA's. I have been eating very clean, which might also attribute to the weight loss. I will say I have never been faster than I am right now. I have just never lost uper body strength this quickly before. Explosiveness and lower body strength are great though. Any training suggestions? With regards to upper body?
