Tamoxifen vs. raloxifene for HTPA renormalization

I think I've been " shut down" as it's said around here....

which, if you notice, has a section on treatment. The drugs mentioned are HCG growth hormone clomid and tamoxifen .

TAMOXIFEN - Tamoxifen citrate is a nonsteroidal antiestrogen. Administration produces an elevation of gonadotropins, FSH & LH, and secondarily gonadal sex hormones. Tamoxifen citrate has also been found to produce a profound increase in serum LH levels as well as improved semen and sperm quality [[63]]. By eliminating excess estrogen circulation at the level of the hypothalamus and pituitary, clomiphene citrate and tamoxifen citrate allow gonadotropin production to resume normally.


I have some raloxifene(about 45 x 60 mg), could I use that instead?

What are peoples experience with using tamoxifen to restore their HTPA? How else can you restore your HTPA?

I have tried raloxifene HCl, It's O.K., but nothing too exciting. What I mean is you need about 180 mg QD to make any diff. I like Nolva myself. I can get raloxifene for free and I still pay for my clomid and nolva. They are all SERMS, but for me Nolva and Clomid are the better choices. But, if you have been "shut down" you will need HCG in most cases. I should have used it last cycle, but didn't and not it's pretty hard for me to hold onto my gains.

hcg and cabergoline are the answer for prolonged shutdown.

Toremifene has been getting great user feedback for use in PCT, perhaps you should look into this?
