I got two golds for novice and class B for my 60kg weight class, and then I was Best Lifter for men's novice. amazing. I was so scared when I started, and training was so tiring. It was all worth it!!!
edit, my numbers: squat 120, bench 82.5, deadlift 150. total 352.5 kgs. my weight: 57.5 kg.

no you are not done you continue on with the meet. I saw a kid bomb in the squat at USAPl collegiate nationals and he went on to pull what would have been a national record in the deadlift. The record did not count bc he had bombed but he benched and deadlifted after he bombed

yes but when you bomb you are not done with the meet. You can choice not to finish the meet but it is not like you are not allowed to continue on and try yo set personal records and what not.

If you miss all three attempts in any lift it would be considered a bomb.
Say for the squat you get all three attempts in. You can now go on to bench.
You miss all three of your attempts. So, now your squat numbers don't count and if the meet director does allow you to deadlift your deadlift doesn't count. Most people just stop lifting for the day and don't waste the time and health of the spoter/loaders.My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal
