Anyone in a long distance relationship?

First off, let me start by saying I'm perfectly content with my relationship, am in 'love' or whatever, etc.

But lately, I'm not sure what to do with myself on the weekends. I used to be able to go out 2-3 times a week and get tons of numbers when I was signle. This is fine when I visit my girl or she visits me etc but otherwise it's pretty damn boring on the weekends.
Like I used to be out partying it up on a saturday, but now I can't be bothered to get off my ass and go out since I'll be seeing my girl next week.

Should I just start going out again and meeting people? I'm not talking about cheating at all, as I said I'm content, just maybe meeting people and getting a few numbers on the weekends (but not actually calling). Weekends are just too boring w/o going out. I miss the whole scene.

My last two relationships were long D. I never thought there was a problem then, because I was living in an illusion that everything was going to be okay, and eventually, we'll be together. I lied to myself that this was only a 'test', and if we pass it, then everything will be so much more meaningful afterwards.

But reality check--it's just not worth losing out what you could've have, for something so uncertain. If you married someone and you have to long D with your wife for x period of months, that's different. But if you're young... You're missing out in life.

She's stated that she'd be fine with me going out sometimes and getting a number or two as long as that's the extent of it cause she knows I get a kind of rush out of it. But then we all know that when a chick says one thing it means something totally different.

I definitely don't wanna mess up my relationship here, but at the same time I'm 20 and don't wanna feel married lol.

I guess I'm being a bit of an idiot, since I see her every 2 weeks.

Thoughts?

how serious are you? it sounds like you're not too into her and that you are just with her because that is the default setting
