Just Ranting About My Own Macro Screw-Up
Ahh I'm sitting here watching the UNC v. NC State basketball game (North Carolina rival game for those not following NCAA basketball)
And I just KILLED at least 4 cups of a mix of Cinnamon Toast Crunch/Golden Grahams/Corn Pops (I got it in a take out box from school cafeteria, why I even got it i do not know).
I was saving my cheat meal for tomorrow, but I guess I'm just going to let today be it.
One Question
I am 300 calories over for today, and way off my Macro Goals (Normal goals - 1500 cals, and a 50/30/20 - 50/25/25 split) & Today I am at 1800 calories and a 41/36/24 split.
So the question is do I not eat anything for the rest of the day and just keep drinking water or even though I am stuffed/bloated beyond belief and am over my calories for the day, do I still eat a meal at 6:30 (usually my last meal of the day)?

It's not going to hurt you to go over your cals every now and again, as long as you are not up for a comp in the next couple of weeks.
Your not that far over your cals for the day and you are behind on protein.
Eat don't starve for the rest of the day.
Eat a little more protein for next meal though and keep the carbs low.
Perfection in mind, perfect body!

If you get hungry then eat! The worst thing you could do would be not to eat when your body is really hungry. 1,800 cals is not even that much. Definitely not a big deal at all. I eat 1,600-1,700 most days so a cheat day for me would be 2,000-2,200 cal.

i realize its not that bad, what is making me the most upset was that its really not what i wanted...at all...it just what was sitting in front of me and so i took my frustration out on sugary cereal instead of something a little healthier
should i still go for my cheat tomorrow...i plan to hit a little closer to my normal cal intake/macros while incorporating some tasty football goodies or either save that for next week

yes! don't worry about it, one time won't kill you. as long as you follow your diet plan on a regualr basis, going off a bit won't hurt you. In fact, it may confuse your metabolism and benefit you in the long run.

If I'm stronger than you, its because I work harder than you are willing to

yes enjoy your football
Look it's not like you do this every week or weekend - just make sure you keep right on track next week. DON'T beat yourself up about this because that's when we down a slippery slope.
Tell yourself you allowed this to happen however now it's over done with. Hit the gym a little harder next week with a super clean diet and you'll be just fine.
