Damn...how quick things can change. My dog just had another seizure. I've had him for 16 years.....This is his second seizure this year. Everything is going fine...then boom...
At least he recovered quicker this time than the last...but believe me, not a fun situation to watch something you care for suffer through.

Thank you. At least I was here for him. I held him for 15 minutes afterwards while he got his senses back...and he ate two dog bones and drank some water...so hopefully he's in the clear now. Maybe so. He's already taking a cortisol pill for his liver and a thyroid pill since his thyroid....but the doc is reluctant to give him too much at his age. So, for now, I give him 1/2 teaspoon of fish oil daily, milk thistle extract daily, thryoid pill daily, cortisol pill daily, vitamin E and a regular doggie vitamin lol....I got him on a regiment poor thing....but they are helping him...Don't know about the side effects of anti-seizure medicine.Originally Posted by SexyChic
