Triplewhammy Presents... NaNO Vapor / NaNOx9 / Anabolic Halo

Hey what's up guys, just put together a little stack here and I figured I'd do some reviews of how it works for me. I have had great results in the past with NaNO Vapor so I figured stacking it with NaNOx9 and AH would just be ridiculous!

Dosing (estimates):
Week 1: 1 scoop Vapor pre/intra, 4 caps NaNOx9 pre, 2 scoops AH post.

Week 2: 2 scoops Vapor pre/intra, 4 cap NaNOx9 pre, 2 scoops AH post.

Week 3: 2 scoops Vapor pre/intra, 6 caps NaNOx9 pre, 3 scoops AH post.

Week 4: 3 (maybe) scoops Vapor pre/intra, 6 caps NaNOx9 pre, 3 scoops AH post.

Well, here is my initial review after the first day, and I will post a review each week as well:

NaNO Vapor, fruit punch
--------------
Taste 6/10: I just used 1 scoop and I used too much water. Taste was just OK, but from previous uses I know 2 tastes better. Next time I will try it with less water.

NaNOx9
--------------
Taste 6/10: Ok well these are pills but I will say two things. First off, they are big and may be difficult for some of you to swallow. Secondly, they do have kind of a funky after-taste that lasts about 5 minutes. Other than that, no biggie.

Anabolic Halo, blue raspberry
--------------
Taste 8/10: 2 scoops in about 20 oz water was actually pretty good. The particular flavor was not as strong as I expected but it was pretty good. The "chill" effect in your throat is an awesome aspect of this product, especially post-workout when you're hot and tired anyway. 3 scoops will probably be ridiculous.

Ok, now reviewing the stack as a whole

Energy 6/10: At this dosing it was just enough to give me a kick in the gym, but didn't make me feel extremely energized, and certainly not jittery. Overall, better-than-average energy at this dose.

Endurance 8/10: This was actually very good. I tackled my entire workout and didn't feel too tired by the end.

Pumps 8/10: The pumps were very good. Muscles were nice and tight within 20 minutes of the workout.

Strength 6/10: Nothing unusually great about strength. The lifts felt a bit easier but I think it was more due to the energy aspect.

Recovery 7/10: The day after lifting and I feel quite refreshed to be honest. Could be other factors but I am hoping that this aspect continues as a result of the Halo. We'll see.

WEEK 1 REVIEW

Energy 7/10: I upped the Vapor dosing to 2 scoops because 1 just didn't taste right in the amount of water I had and I needed the extra energy.

Endurance 8/10: Once I get into my workout, I cruise through it just fine. Completing the workouts is no problem with this stack.

Pumps 8/10: The pumps were still ridiculously good, especially on arm day. Also, the pump effect seems to help me get warmed up easier before lifting.

Strength 7/10: My lifts did increase slightly since before the stack so hopefully this continues throughout the next weeks.

Recovery 7/10: Recovery appears to be just as good as with a protein/carb drink post-workout so Halo is pretty good so far.

This coming week I will be running 2 scoops Vapor pre/intra, 6 caps Nanox9 pre, 2 scoops Halo post.

Thanks, bud! Actually the Anabolic Halo is the only thing I paid regular (bb.com) price for. The NaNox9 I got from the Arnold Classic last year and just had it sitting around, and the Vapor I purchased on the wheycheap deal!

Just felt like mixing things up in my supplementation with a new stack.

Good question, and I don't really have a definite answer, but I can tell you what I do.

5:00am breakfast
5:45am begin sipping on 2 scoops Vapor
6:10am 6 caps NaNOx9
6:15am begin workout
7:30am 2 scoops Halo
8:15am 1 scoop protein powder + meal

Seems to be working good so far!

WEEK 2 REVIEW

Energy 7/10: The Vapor is still giving me good energy in the morning. Nothing crazy but still good.

Endurance 8/10: Nothing changed with endurance. Still finishing the workout strong.

Pumps 8/10: Pumps were VERY good. They help me get warmed up a lot better and after arm day I can't scratch my back.

Strength 7.5/10: I did notice maintained or increased strength on most lifts. Strength overall has increased.

Recovery 7/10: Recovery is still good. I will say my legs had extreme DOMS for about 3 days, but other than that I feel just as good as with a protein/carb postworkout shake.

This coming week I will be using 3 scoops Vapor, 6 caps NaNOx9, and 3 scoops Halo. Basically, this is the most I will ever be taking so I expect REALLY good results!

FINAL REVIEW

Energy 6/10: For some strange reason, I noticed that dosing 3 scoops of Vapor actually left me with LESS energy than 2. I believe it is due to the feeling of being "overstimulated."

Endurance 8/10: Very good endurance still.

Pumps 9/10: Pumps were actually a hair better than last week. I noticed that my biceps were getting fantastic pumps during my back workout which is rare for me.

Strength 7.5/10: Strength was good as well. Nothing extraordinary, but kept up with a typical strength progression.

Recovery 7/10: Recovery was still pretty good sitting at 3 scoops Anabolic Halo. Still on par with what I'd expect with a protein/carb drink.

Final Thoughts: The one thing I did notice during this final week was that the first couple of workouts I felt sick to my stomach at the beginning and I attributed this to the 3 scoops of Vapor + 6 caps NaNOx9, which is rough on your stomach. To avoid that, I began sipping Vapor approximately 45 minutes preworkout so that it would not all hit my stomach at once. This seemed to do the trick. Having said that, to be honest I did not notice much more benefit with the extra scoop Vapor and extra 2 caps Nanox9 to warrant the cost/dosage. I would actually recommend this for the entire cycle: 2 scoops Vapor, 4 caps NaNOx9, 3 scoops Halo. I found that setup to be the most effective and helps on the cost. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stack and a great break from the monotony of my previous supplementation.

I would recommend this stack if:
1) You have extra cash to play with.
2) You need a break from the typical post-workout drink.
3) You are looking for fantastic pumps/energy.

I would not recommend this stack if:
1) You are on a tight budget.
2) You are happy with your current supplementation results.
3) You have a sensitive stomach (yohimbe, etc)
4) You hate MuscleTech LOL

So did you take the supps on your off days as well? I am on a similar stack (Nano Vapor, Halo, L-Arginine) and have been wondering if I should actually do so.

No I would say definitely no reason to take them on off days.
