Do you guys do isolated ab work?
Do you guys do isolated ab work, or do you believe that compound movements are good enough to work the core and ab development?

very rarely,,, i only weigh 140, so abs arent hard to obtain
but i hope to bulk and gain some serious size,
then it may become necessary..
do you?

It's good to have a strong core, and you're intensely training every other muscle, why would you skip the abdominals?
I think most people on here either don't or lie and say they don't just because there's some conception that training abs is for the people just going for the "guns and 6-pack".

I actually believe that the teens that aren't doing isolated work on the abs are too caught up in the love of deadlifts and squats (which work your core amazingly) and just forget about the muscle group that girls love.
My reason for not doing abs is because I just forget to do them. I feel that strength training with the big 3 lifts is of more importance and more exciting. Ab training hasn't crossed my mind for months. I should start training abs now though so that they'd look sexier.
