Month 6-12: THAILAND
For the following 6 months I lived in Thailand where I trained in Muay Thai.
A combination of the rice/seafood diet, intense heat, traveling on foot, endurance training for martial arts, and the fact that my gym had only up to 50lbs dumbbells to work with --- had me leaner then ever.

I also began to eat more, going from about 2,000 to 3,000 cals a day for maintenance...

(((((INJURY: failed on the 6th one and had to tip the weights! I couldn't lift anymore after this )))))
Daily Ratings:
Workout: 2/5
I was weak today. It was supposed to be my day off, I drank like a fish last night and wasn't well rested, and I lifted at 6pm which is later then I like to go. I cut my workout short because I think I slightly injured my elbow when I failed on that close grip bench set. Can't get injured on my 1st day of the stack! I immediately went home and iced it followed by a hot shower. It only hurts when I curl my arm, not when I extend it; pain is mild.
Supplements: 4/5
I took my 1st dosage of Act-X & Stoked today and DAMN did I feel lifted... I was hyper, talkative and motivated. I love this feeling and I hope it doesn't fade. The reason I gave it a 4 is that I tried Labrada Supercharge and it didn't live up to what I had hoped. Then again there were other variables holding me back (such as drunk sleep the night before, overtrained already, etc...) Tomorrows another day
Diet: 2/5
3900 Cals (255 P / 400 C / 140 F)
I ate out at Chili's tonight... didn't realize how fatty there steaks were!
Sleep: 1/5
(# of hrs unknown)
Polished off a 1500ml bottle of wine and about 10 shots of vodka... woke up cuddling my dog only to find vomit all the over the carpet... I don't remember anything lol, but I woke up with a terrible hangover... I figured if I was gonna quit drinking I should make myself dread the idea of it hehe
__________________________________________________ ____________________________________
Overall (Cliff notes): 2/5
Off to a bad start but thats my own fault...
-It was supposed to be my day off but the enthusiasm I got form Act-x & Stoked drove me into the gym
-I worked Chest without my lifting partner and ended up injuring my elbow and had to cut my workout short
-I had shty drunk sleep last night and woke up frequently this morning
-I worked out late in the day, which isn't the best time for me
Final Thoughts: Oh well though, I'm not sweatin it... the way I see it I've set the bar perty low so the following lifts should blow this one away

Naa we don't have to superset... you know your sht, so I figured you lead I'll follow... or we can switch off... whatever works ... plus you've kinda got me movin away from the superset... in this last workout I just did some ab work to kill the time between Chest sets
Haha yeah I noticed that, I figured I didn't get them before cuz I didnt have a specific stack listed in the title

I like the supersetting with the ab work - nice.
don't sweat the workout, I was in the same boat last night. too tired to put in a session - should have taken the night off, but I was kind of charged up to want to put in a lift. ended up being quick and not the best workout - but at least I got some exercise, ha.
like you said, numbers were low - so expecting some big increases next time!

well I do like the occasional superset - though I've become a big fan of dropsets lately! Mixing and matching would be fun. And I think you give me far too much credit, lmao.
makes sense if you are lifting for power right now to minimize the supersets- that should allow you to move some heavier weight.
it's always fun to lift with others - you get a different view point and I usually find stuff that I can use for future workouts. I'll keep my fingers crossed that my shoulder keeps healing up so I can lift heavy when I do end up back in town.

I do both... I usually do a dropset at the end of a hard lift, especially if I don't break 3 reps...
I haven't lifted with many serious guys like the ones that post on this site, so it'd be a good experience

Daily Ratings:
Workout: 5/5
-Felt strong today, great stamina.
-Focused on wide grip, as back width is one of my weak points. I don't usually do BB rows so I'm starting light to get used to it.
-Was strong on the wide grip chins, although they get harder as I bulk since my BW is going up. My goal is 4 sets of 10 by the end of this cycle.
-My elbow was great the whole workout until that 1 set of inside grip pull ups... I only felt it a little so I stopped. -Took Animal Flex right when I got home.
-Threw in some calf raises at the end while I drank my torrent since I still had so much energy.
Supplements: 5/5
-I seem to have balanced out today, as I don't notice the effects of Act-X / Stoked... which is fine seeing as its so early in the cycle.
-I took 1 scoop of Labrada Preworkout, but this time on an empty stomach with adequate rest. It was great, I wasn't overly hyper or jittery (like with WF) ... just smooth strong energy and good strength.
-I usually take my cytogainer before my preworkout supp, but I wanted to take it on an empty stomach so I took my cyto at the beginning of my w.out.
Diet: 2/5
Ended the night with pasta dinner and a lot of liqour
Sleep: 3/5 (7 Hrs)
-Had a few beers at a party last night, got to sleep around 3:45am. I set my alarm for noon, but my brother woke me up at 9:30 and then again at 10:30 buggin me bout some bills. Couldn't fall back asleep the 2nd time
Overall:
Great workout, but I kinda slipped on my no drinking rule lol. I was supposed to be DD, but there was so much goin on between watching the fights and the party scene... Oh well, no more after this hehe
Final Thoughts: It's morning... my head hurts

Daily Ratings:
Workout: 4/5
-Solid workout, felt strong... Only reason I rated it a 4 is cuz I know if I hadn't drank last night I'da been stronger today.
-Little disappointed on Military Press... I've been stronger
-Happy with Biceps... The DB preacher curls felt great, I need to do those more often
Supplements: 5/5
-Testosterone must be up, almost got in a fight last night cuz the kid whose party it was thought I was going into the back room stashing my beer or something... he told me to leave and started counting down from 5 and I immediately snapped and tossed him... then he let all the girls get between us lol... for the best, I'm really a peaceful guy I swear I tried to handle it humbly, but when he started counting down not only was it a threat, but a threat to my pride as well hehe
-The Supercharge saved me from a tough workout since all I'm working with is drunk sleep
Diet: 3.5/5
After my PWO date I went out for Sushi, which is me fav but then I went to a superbowl party and got down on some beef n bean chili, breaded chicken breast, pretzels, wheat thins and a bunch of vegis... not horrible, but not great either. I'm thinkin about depleting my glycogen for a few days cuz I've been eating kinda shty this last week. I know I'm bulking, but I still want to eat cleaner foods.
Sleep: 1/5 (? Hrs)
Drunk sleep will always get a 1... especially when I'm that fk'd up... Had the spins last night, but only when I turned on my right side, not on my left... weird huh... I woke up around 8am and had to pee so bad, but I actually cut it short cuz I was getting nauseous from standing up lol... I popped a couple tylenol, drank a glass of water and went back to sleep... I dont plan on drinking like that again for the rest of the cycle
Overall: 3.5/5
Great workout, shty nights sleep... the 2 usually dont go together
Final Thoughts: Some funny sht went down at the gym today... some guy (in decent shape) was doing DB shoulder press (I think wtih 55's) and his ass slipped out from beneath him and he went straight forward... luckily he didn't get hurt, but I couldn't help but bust out laughing, good thing I wasnt midset!

Overall: TBA
Final Thoughts: TBA
F8ck the spins... that **** sucks... really sucks!
Preacher curls are one of my favorites - either single arm DB or do them on the Hammer Strength plate loaded lever. I swear they have a huge impact on bicep peaks.

Yeah they're no fun... it was weird tho, they were only when I laid on my right side... when I faced left I felt nothing
Preachers felt great, I'ma do those from now on... I don't like the plate loaded lever tho, I avoid machines all together
LEGS TOMORROW! ... Gonna sleep long tonight, wake up to a big breakfast, followed by a preworkout coctail and DL 400 again!
