hey guys! anyone from the groton/new london area know of a good gym??? next tuesday/wednesday i have to go to that area and may workout. gonna try for another 7 straight days of cardio to bump my day off to wednesday, and gonna try to get cardio/weights in before i leave on tuesday so i dont need to find a gym etc, but just incase things dont go as planned, i need a back up.

...holy f*ck next week is gonna be hell... a 1650 cal day when i have to get up between 7:30-7:45 (meal #1 normally for me is 11:00-11:30); f*ck, this is royally gonna suk... as it is my 1650 cal days are pure hell on tues/thurs cuz i have to get up at 8:40)... i could always try to shift all meals by 3 hrs., take some sleeping pills wed nite, and then get back on track on thurs/fri which are 1850 days... damn, i can't wait to have next week over with! i wish i was like most ppl who eat earlier to lose/maintain weight, cuz i gain like mad if i eat early

Planet Fitness in Stamford sucks, it's so small, they have 6 AB boards, 2 torso twist and a bunch of machines. As far as free weight their db's only go up to 80 pounds and they have 1 flat bench, 1 incline and no decline. and about 40 treadmills and 15 bikes

if anyone wants some, i've still got like 4 unopened bottles of ANSI's Hydroxadrine (ephedra version). i no longer use/need ephedra (or caffeine)... Hoodia gordonii has cured me!!!

it has not offically been lifted yet, the FDA now has to go back and provide evidence that ephdra is unsafe. If they can not(which they can't) then ephdra will be legal again but don't hold your breath it'll be months before this is all said and done. Plus why would anyone use ephdra again anyway? It's more expensive the way supp compaines sell it when you can just go get vasopro for 8 bucks

I'm moving to Southington next month from West Hartford. Where do you two workout? I've been to the Southington Athletic Club a couple of times. Nice gym. Has a lot of equipment my gym doesn't and their dbs go up to 150. Not sure if I'll switch gyms though. My gym is two blocks from my work.

yo i live in stamford and go to planet fitness in stamford..but dont bitch too much guys. what you exp[ect for ten dolllars a month. they cater to those fat cows that need the readmiils that why they have like 40 of them but dosent bother me at all i'm all about the free wights and when nthey see me come in with my 20 inch arms they all move and so some respect bitch!! lol..gyms ok for money i pay hope to see anyone there that goes there..peace

i currently work out at my firehouse, where we built a pretty decent gym so far. we do lots of fund raisers to buy more equipment. granted its not southington athletic club but it has the basics. i will be checking out SAC soon, i have a few friends that workout there.
