think im getting tested

im in the marine corp reserve, been in for over 3years. We had our semi-annual weigh-in and measurements this past drill weekend. I weighed in @ 5'7" 208lbs For those of you in the military you all know that im way over the max limit for my height lol, as a result our chief warrent officer had me in his office for a private chat.

Basically he told me that a couple of higher ups in the unit have suspected my use for serveral months and that i should be prepared for a steroid test next drill. Right now im nearing the end of my 3rd cycle.....which is test, deca, anadrol, so obviously there is no way of that stuff clearing my system in just a month lol so im just thinking, why the fuk would the resreves give a **** if a marine was on AAS? im not worried or even concerend about this, just amused. All the **** they could be spending money on and they want to spend $245 on a steroid test just for me. WTF?

do not, i say again, DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT A LAWYER. have him/her PHYSICALLY present with you. for the mean time, deny it. say you want a lawyer present. DON'T GET A JAG, GET A CIVILIAN. a JAG is military and will have his hands tied in a situation like this. advice is ok to ask. anything else is no.

you mean, do not go through with the test without a lawyer? I know active duty and reserves are two totally different things, but im pretty sure active or reserve we dont have a choice to take a drug test if its manditory....this is one of the things i hate about our country...they train us to fight and kill and all that jazz, but god forbid we take anything that might make us better at what we are supposed to do!

they should of done it right away if they "suspected" like you said. why prolong it? would they prolong a meth drug pop? hell no. if he said "there maybe a test". last time i checked, steroid testing isn't randomized. you are singled out for that kind of stuff and they set up a date. your command may already put their foot in their mouths because of such words. i don't recommend this but cold turkey maybe your best bet. i really don't know about short notices.

if you are a good person, the worst they'll do is a NJP. but i seen court martials followed by brig time. btw, i'm reserves now. same rules still apply as AD. piss tests, you have to do....steroid tests...thats arguable.

negative on that bro, reservist just get separeted if they pop on a piss test. No brig time or anything like that we dont fall under the ucmj unless we're doing AT or on a deployment. That is what our platoon sgt has explained to me.

but either way the esters that i have been doing will remain detectable for 3 months so going cold turkey wont accomplish anything at this point. But you're right, there is no such thing as a random steorid test in the military. Plus i was told my the chief warrrent officer that it has to be approved by our CO before any action is taken.

true on the ucmj part. i was jumping the gun. the CO does have the final say. if your battalion is hurting for $$$, don't expect anything. they pay out of pocket for this test and the marine corps is cheap. good luck man. but lawyer is optional on your part and all questions/actions from your command can be directed to your lawyer.

edit: if you get put on legal hold, UCMJ applies because you will be on active status

former jar here. I cycled on active duty and was always worried about ur situation. I was in the wing so noone gave a ****. However, I know a guy who got caught with a couple bottles of test in his locker. He got NJP, but he was just a PFC so he just lost that little stripe

You could run your PCT right now, and hope you pass the test.

Are you bellow the rank of E-5? If you fail, then likely you will just have to go to drug counsling.

Before you admit anything though, try to get by it by running pct, and hoping as heck deca does not show up.

On top of that, it may just be a standard drug test. Often on the military UA's they do not even test for it, but officers who are not familiar with the subject will just assume they do on every drug test, and only order the regular UA weed, coke, etc...

If you do fail, and its a roid test, then get a jag.
