New & Need Help Please
Hello!
I am new to this site. My brother has been posting on these forums and dieting/working out religiously for a few years now, and I decided I would like to join this site too.
I am a college student and I am looking to reduce my body fat and gain muscle.
I probably weight about 135 right now, and I would like to get down to about 110 pounds.
Does anyone have any eating plans or workout plans that have really worked for them?
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

At 5'4" you do not want to weight 110#. Forget scale weight anyway. What's important is your body composition. Get on a solid diet plan first. Toss the junk and processed foods and eat more whole foods. I'd start out at about 1700 cals with macros of 40/30/30. You should see slow fat loss as well as some muscle gains. Your brother should be able to hook you up with a weight training plan. They are the same for men and women. Lift heavy with good form. Terracotta's site has loads of good info http://www.hotnfit.com/ as do the stickies in each of the female forums.

Listen to Freebird. She knows what she's talking about. ;-)
I definitely don't think you need to drop down to 110. I'm only an inch taller than you and I dropped from 135 to 127 last year. I'm very happy with my size for my height. The mirror will tell you if you're making progress.
College can make that whole eating thing rough. Depending on what you have available to you cooking wise- oatmeal, eggs/egg whites, peanut butter, tuna packs and almond, fruit (great to carry around from class to class), baked chicken, whey protein (for shakes and baking).
I'm sure if you hang around here long enough you'll get some more ideas. Find things you like eating that will help fuel your workouts. Make this enjoyable or you'll never stick with it. Good luck!
