Cardio time
Should I do cardio (15 - 20 min) after or before each workout ? I'm not trying to get ripped, or loose weight quickly, just trying to get slightly leaner after some time.
Thank you

Once I heard that if you do cardio right after the workout, you loose your anabolism that you have gained during the workout.

both replies above me are wrong. it does matter when you do your aerobic exercise and it should ALWAYS be AFTER your workout. if you run before you deplete your bodies ATP

Why not do both? Do 5-10 mins before weight training to get warmed up, and then do some cardio after training. If you aren't worried about getting big and muscular, then it doesn't really matter if you change your anabolic state by doing cardio after weights.

I've written on the subject on numerous occasions. And to the person above who says ALWAYS, you are wrong as well.

And as long as you've eaten a good meal prior to exercise, you've been hearing things and have been misled about the nebulous window of opportunity.

As long as the active agent is "unknown" some dork is still gonna be poppin' chicken beaks so he can freakin' squat!

Any references to scientific studies for that theory? Any experience on how body composition is changed if nothing else is changed?
