How many eggs do you eat per DAY?
I read in menshealth recently that having more than 2 eggs per week is harmful.
But due to certain reason chicken, eggs and whey will have to be my main soucres of protein
I also read that eggs white are an incomplete source of protein. SO it seems quite pointless taking egg whites.
Will I die if I eat more than 4 eggs per week?

I'm pretty sure this is wrong as well. The amino acid profile of egg protein is freaking awesome.

I eat as many as I want and it's well over 2 and according to the expensive ass blood work I just had done my cholesterol is good.

No you won't die. If you do die, then my bad. I guess that almost 100% of us are very lucky.
And eggs are one of the most bioavailably sources of protein. I'd say that you should find a new source of info.

I'm not totally sure. I'm guessing no? Cause alot of people on the earth would not be here then. I eat 4 eggs for breakfast every other day.

On a serious note, you won't die if you eat a couple eggs a day unless you already have a cholesterol problem. Personally, I eat 2-3 whole eggs a day, plus an additional 8-10 egg whites.

You should still be fine. I can't see any reason why you'd die.
Do you have good cholesterol and is there any history of heart problems in your family or with you? If that's all good then I wouldn't worry.
Thre's a lot of things around now saying that dietary cholesterol doesn't really affect blood cholesterol though.

Get your cholesterol checked if you're concerned.
And think about it... they HAVE to be complete proteins... otherwise how would they create a whole animal?!??

If eating more than 2 eggs per week was harmful, we'd all be dead. I'd be dead. What?? I go get my physical, and every time I do, I hear that I'm very healthy, have perfect blood pressure, and my cholesterol levels are at a healthy range. And I eat 2 eggs a day, on top of my egg whites!! Eggs are one of the most complete protein sources you can get, so I don't know where the idea came from that they're an incomplete protein, cause that's pure bullsh*t.
You like eggs? Eat them. Don't throw out the yolk, it contains almost half the protein, and all the vitamins. They're good for you, and an awesome source of inexpensive protein.

Strong logic but the eggs we are eating are unfertilized. The yolk is just a food source for the embryo that isn't in the egg, and the white, I believe, is basically padding.

lol Nah it's pretty easy to do for us. Like it's only a dozen in each egg meal. 2-3 egg meals x 12 = 24-36.
We just keep a ton of em in the fridge here at our gym and go to town babyyy haha
You get used to it after a while.

Statistical Anomaly
Egg white is the only thing that consists of just pure protein, nothing else. So yeah, it's a good source of protein and no, you won't die from eating more than 4 eggs a week.

there have been studies that show the chol. in eggs dont even get absorbed into ur system.. well most of them atleast

I HATE menshealth, i used to get it, i remember that they said you shouldnt eat more than 3-4 eggs a week (what op said) but then near the last page they had an article on eating to gain muscle and advised you eat 3 eggs in your breakfast everyday. I wish i could neg menshealth.

Pretty sure eggs are fine (y)
but....make sure you are only eating free-range. Caged chickens release hormones into their eggs...which can increase stress and anxiety in you.

eggs are completely fine...i down three eggs a day! the cholesterol in the eggs gets synthesized in your body and does not raise your blood cholesterol levels. plus eggs give you testosterone, which will help with your workouts.
