Admittedly, it does, seem to have an almost "second wind" of energy, for hours after my workout. While I don't feel as aggressive or as energized, it is still pushing and making me feel really happy and energized.
In terms of timing, I find 30-40mins preWO is perfect but everyone is different, so feel free to experiment.
