Amount of cardio?
Hi I'm new to this site and thought i'd say hi. I'm 5'2, 116lbs and my current goal is to maintain muscle mass while cutting and lowering my body fat percentage. i am aware of the importance of a strict diet and eat 6 meals a day with my macro breakdown of 40% P / 30% C and 30% Fat. Is this kind of breakdown appropriate for lowering bf? also i am rather unsure about how much cardio i should actually be doing if i want to maintain my current muscle mass (i am lifting heavy weights 3 times a week and usually do 50 mins of cardio after this).
so how much cardio do i need to be doing to achieve my goal or should i just focus solely on HIIT for cardio here?

Hey there!
How weird! I'm 5'2" and 116 lbs as well! I started bulking a few months ago and went from 100lb to 116lb and now I'm actually starting my cut today!!! I'm trying to do the same thing you are, lowering my body fat% and keeping as much muscle mass as possible. My fiance's best friend is a personal trainer and he's put together a plan for my cut. Not sure about my macros yet. He's sending them to me tonight so today i'm just going by the ball park numbers he gave me last night! Anyway, you're doing too much cardio. For my bulk i was lifting heavy weights 4 days a week for an hour each day and no cardio. He said, for my cut, to do the same thing expect only lift for 45 min and do cardio afterward for 25 min. Hope this helps!
