I would say biceps are the least beneficial to work directly, but wouldn't say they are useless. If I had to pick one muscle that had no athletic purpose it would be the tongue.
Nothing to see here, move along please

Don't swimmers use biceps for breaststroke? Slices in tennis use biceps as well:P We need ALL our muscles for sports!

He's not implying that he can get by WITHOUT having biceps lol. He's saying that it has the least impact on general sports.. which I suppose I'd agree on or hmm, maybe calves or neck?

I'm here to help.

i agree that neck isnt very important in most sports, but calves are probly good for speed and explosiveness.

I don't think their role is very significant tbh, it all comes from your posterior chain... I think calves are just good for ankle stability etc

are you serious neck? in football working your neck can save you seriously. we did 4 way neck wokrouts on our neck machine, prevents injuries. just think about tackling if you dont tackle perfectly and bend your neck a certain way you can get messed up fast. neck is very important imo

Your neck is extremely important in football, rugby, and any contact sport. Same with your traps.

jaw muscles..dont talk about it.do it

Traps and neck are so important in sports like football, wrestling, and rugby. You need to be able to support and protect your neck when makeing or takeing on a big hit.

nobody thinks chest? i think the reason you do bench is to strengthen front delts and triceps, i mean chest might not be the least but id say its up there(thats regarding major muscle groups)

Moar Lats!!
theres no way to rate this you need different muscles in different sports, football uses biceps, triceps, chest, back, legs basically everything and to pick which one is the most useless is pointless.

d1ck muscle while you compete but not after the game.

Biceps are useless for some sports like soccer, but for wrestling they help a lot on the ground.
