1 gram of protein per pound of LBM?

OK, when people say 1-2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight, I'm assuming they mean LEAN bodyweight, right? I've been on a dirty bulk for awhile and have put on a good amount of fat, so I'm about to cut. Thing is I only plan to get 1 gram per pound of X, but I don't know whether or not I should plan for 200 grams a day, or like 170. 30 grams is a pretty fair amount, so I really need to know what the recommendation is. Thanks

Lyle McDonald recommends 1.25g/lb of lean body mass.

Layne Norton also recommends 1.25g/lb, but I don't remember if that's LBM or total body weight. Either way, both numbers won't be far off from each other.
