Pushing the limits with Dabolic Labs Mass LMG & Methyl Mag
Blane/Cope and I have been asked by Diabolic Labs newest Rep, Boostthis89 to test two of their new and fantastic products. One product is Methyl Mag and the other is Mass LMG. Each of his will be testing a different product and will report on our results. Since two of us will be testing separate products are the same time, we thought it would be best if we both posted to same thread. That way you can see how the different products are working. Please feel free to post any questions and/or comments.
To get started, I thought I would give you a little background on me and what I am trying to achieve. For this threat, I am planning on posting something most everyday to give you a sense of my workouts and how I am progressing. My plan with being part of the product test is to see how much lean muscle I can add
Age: 45
Sex: M
Height: 5' 8"
Current Body Weight: 225 lbs
Goal: Short term is to be at 235lbs at around 12% of body fat by 1 June 2009. Long term is to be at least 250lbs at less then 10% of body fat.
Training experience: Started lifting as a teenage and continued regularly through high school. Following high school, I was of and on with serious working out until about 4 years ago when I got tired of being out. Got back into serious working out to get back into shape and have not stopped since. I currently alternate between bulking and cutting periods to maximize muscle growth while controlling body fat.
Current Training Schedule:
Cardio: Currently doing 30 minutes of cardio every morning 5 day-a-week before work. Following cardio I do one abdominal exercise.
Lifting: 5 day-a-week lifting program. I do mix up by exercises to keep things from getting boring but stick with usually three to four working sets per exercise and 8 to 10 reps. Once I get the last set to 10 reps, I add weight. The following is my schedule and the usual exercises.
Tuesday: Shoulders (four exercises) and Traps (one to two exercises)
Wednesday: Arms (three bicep, three triceps, one forearm)
Friday: Legs (four exercises)
Saturday: Chest (four exercises)
Sunday: Back (four exercises)
Sometimes I need to switch days around based on life but this is the core routine.
Current supplements: Ultimate Nutrition Muscle Juice,
Mega Men Sports Multi Vit by GNC, SizeOn by Gaspari Nutrition, BCAA, Glutamine, Fish Oil, B-5, and B-6
Current Diet and macros: Meals equally divided into 5 to 6 meals. I strive to eat around 5000 cals, 350 g of protein and rest in carbs and healthy fat.

Age: 25
Sex: M
Height: 5' 9"
Current Body Weight: 185 lbs
Goal for this cycle: gain 8-10lbs of lbm.
Training experience: I worked out off/on for 2yrs or so during/after highschool. honestly i had no clue what a diet was or how to properly train muscle groups. During college i took a weight training class and decided to get a degree in the field. The thing i love about weight training is the fact that you always can improve on something and you will learn something new on a regular basis.
Current Training Schedule:
Cardio: 15minutes after weight training 4 days/week. 1-2 days of fasted a.m. cardio for 35min.(1-2g of bcaa's taken before the morning cardio)
Lifting: I weight train 5 days a week working one bodypart/day. I don't exactly count each rep but its between 8-12 reps. sets will be 3-4 depending on the bodypart. Total exercises/bodypart are between 3 and 5 depending on bodypart.
i will add a cardio session over the course of fri/sat/sun. also i throw in calves on one of these days.
supplements:
SP250- 1 scoop 30min prior to training
whey- 2 scoops post training. i also throw in a shake here and there.
taurine-3-5g prior to training-preparing for the back pumps
bcaa- 1-2g taken prior to a.m. cardio.
multi- 2 caps/day
Diet- My current diet is between 2600-2800kcals. i am going to bump it up gradually to 3000kcals over the course of this week. protien is between 225-250. carbs 200-250 and fats between 50-70g. i will be posting actual numbers with a breakdown.
im here to test a product that i have faith in, my training and diet are in check and i will use this product to its fullest potential. questions/comments...please let me hear about it.
please note: i will more than likely post my daily updates after 5p.m. central time. so if i do not anwser something promptly its because im "snapping necks and cashin checks"

I officially started my cycle last night. Workout went well. This year I am really going to focus on putting 110% into every training session. Not to say that I haven?t done this in the past but I want to really work on it this year.
Back training:
Cable lat pulldown-4x8-12reps
Hammer strength row-3x10-12reps
High close grip row- 4x10-12reps
Rear delt -4x12-15reps
that metallica tune did the trick bros. chest training was intense!
chest training:
flat barbell press 5x15/12/12/10/7
incline db press-3x12/10/8
seated hammer strength-2x10/9
seated neutral grip press-2x12/10
cable fly-3x15/12/12
cardio:
15min
im feeling great, nothing really out of the ordinary to report. it usually takes 5-7 days for this compound to really kick in, but i will report if anything happens sooner. also i have a couple of picks i will be posting and im trying to finish up taking the rest, kind of tedious because i don't have anyone to take them for me so its alot of re-takes. lol tomorrow is arms.....gotta bust out the cut-off shirt right!?

better yet your gonna bust out of your shirt ..
not that it matters but im really curious to see how this effects your strength as well as your size... make sure you add up what kinda strength gains you have too if u can ..

Theres a rumor going around that you got banned from your last gym for pulling your pecker out while spotting some guy on a bench press and you tried covering it up with that back injuryyyy whats with that homie

Due to the highly qualified and competent USPS staff, I finally received by Methyl Mag on 1/21/09 and I officially started the cycle. I will be taking 3 capsules a day for the next thirty days. For PCT, I will be using a commercial OTC regiment.
Shoulder workout went well, nothing new to report as far as sides go. I do have a problem with my upper body mainly shoulders/chest, it seems that my left side gets pumped up faster than my right. This has been happening for the last 1.5yrs off and on. I have been incorporating unilateral movements to try and bring up the weaker side. ok on with shoulders:
It got cold here in texas yesterday! ZERO sides as of yet, although i did experiance a much stronger drive in the gym today. I was zoned out big time. My training partner thought i was pissed at him or something, he said "dude did you get fired from your job" lol guess i pulled a Dorian Yates!
days 5-7 is where i experiance the first signs of orals kicking in. low back pumps are unfortunately the tell tell sign that the supplement has started to become effective. No back pumps as of yet!
I have not checked my weight recently but i will today, I don't like getting scale happy because its what i see in the mirror that really counts. although we all like watching the scale move too!

I imagine that happens with everyone.
I have stronger arm, leg, the whole deal.
AND- my muscles look different- right calf looks better, left trap has a better shape.
I think DB training - or at least ISO unilateral (I hope thats the right word) - is the best way to balance the body. IMO you are on the right track.

yeah i have been incorporating more db work into my training. its wild though because sometimes i can feel it a whole lot and other times its not noticeable. oh well im not too worried about it.

Sorry for the lack of posting the last couple of days. Ended up getting a 24 hour plus bug on Wednesday and decided not to do much of anything on Thrusday and Friday.
Felt a lot better on Saturday, so back to the gym. Really felt good and strong (Surprising since I was just getting over being sick) and had a great pump.
Leg Press
