Back Squats 385x5
Getting back into heavy squats. Form went down hill towards the end, not GM'ing the weight up AS bad but I still need some work on keeping my head up.

Those last couple reps look a little dangerous, the fact you were strong enough to muscle up the weight like that is pretty impressive though. (did you feel any discomfortable in your lower back after?)
I'd lower the weight a little, maybe to about 365 and work up from there.. you have a lot of potential and injuries this early in your career would be devasting (an injury sucks at any point of career, but to get one before you even started would be the worst).
Keep on lifting hard, you already have good size for you height so you will be beast when your around my age. (21.. atleast by tomorrow)

No, I didn't have any lower back discomfort. I know what your saying though, I'm putting myself in a vulnerable position.
I just watched it a couple times myself, and I noticed that after my second rep I'm not really driving my head up as much. Thursdays my light squat/assistance day and I'm going to really work on form. Thanks a lot for the critique man!

Much appreciated man. I saw your deadlift video, awesome job! It's got to be hard to maintain your lifts with all the sports you play.

I just noticed that, it's probably attributing to my leaning forward. Thanks for pointing that out man.

Man, those last 3 reps were horrible to watch!
Very impressive weight for your age though!

i though your form was great. you have a long torso, so your squats are going to fold more than most with that bar position

Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. I guess for a powerlifter my squats are kind of in a high bar position. I'll have to mess around with everything today, break some bad habits. Thanks for the feedback!
Reps for everyone

you mis-understood me. The lower your bar position, the more you will be forced to fold over. It's not a question of leverage or strength, just center of gravity. Just think about it. Naturally, the bar will move on a straight line, 90* to the ground. The further down your back you put it, the further forward your head must be in the hole to keep the bar on it's straight, 908 path.
