The iron gym...???
I was thinking of adding this to my workout routine, but before I waste my money...
Does it work? Is it worth it?

The guy in the commercial didn't get his physique from using the Iron Gym. If you can find a cheaper pull up bar then get that instead. That's all you're really paying for is a pull up bar.
Edit: Do you have a gym membership or a home gym?

Does it work?
I have one. Yea it works fine. Never had any issues with it falling off the door frame or breaking anything.
29.99 for a pullup bar was a good investment for me.
But it is just that...a pullup bar. Its not some crazy miraculous invention.

For $30 why even hold a poll?
I vote for "get it for those days you want to experiment at home".

definitely pick one up. i got one because i work out at home and dont have a power rack, so pullups were never an option unless i wanted to do them outside on trees. i'm 185 lbs and its never felt like it was going to break or anything.

It is probably a good PULL UP thing to use, but i can guarentee the guy on the commercial didnt get that body from useing that. It just makes me laugh when the companies who make things like this try and advertise to the consumer that useing products like this is going to give you the body of the person on the commercial.

Does it work? Hmmm? It works if you use it. It works the same way a pull up bar on a power rack or a power tower works. Do you want to do pull ups? If yes, then get one. $30 is cheap and I can tell you it is solid and will not break.
To answer Extremist Pullups question. It is rated to hold 300lbs. Insane pull up maniacs like you need not apply. Your videos are nuts. Nuts in good way.

it works..
i got it a little over a week ago and i've been using it everyday since and i love it, it's actually kind of addicting...the pullups are great, the push ups are too, the dips aren't bad if you use a couple chairs with it, the sit ups are kind of dumb...but anyway i think it's worth it i got mine for 30 bucks at rite aid. no marks on the walls and it holds up well.

It's definitely worth it. I love it and it works well.
I needed a chin-up bar in my house, this was cheap and effective.
My wife even made the statement that I'm obsessed with it, I DO use it about 3 times a day.
It also works great for pushups and dips and I guess if you really wanted to, you could use it for situps, but I just use a sofa to hold my feet.
GET IT!

Only thing worthwhile about it is the pull up bar factor. The other exercise methods are pretty useless on it, and was a reach for them to use it in the advertisement.

yikes...no...
well..i guess its cool that you cn do chin ups at home but bench is better than pushups if your looking for size and strength.
i think you just need a heavy compound routine, no iso's...put some muscle on ya!

it works fine, but I don't think you need it as long as you go to the gym.
