Noob question.

What is the difference between an Incline Bench Press and an Incline Shoulder Press? They look exactly the same. Plus, the picture on bb.com looks like the same picture for both exercises, except one is a mirrored image of the other. I want to benefit my traps and my chest, will either excerise do both, or am I missing a key movement here? Also, please look at my workout tracker for this week. What would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

they shouldn't look the same. you should have almost no incline at all for shoulder press and the bb incline can be from 15 to 60 degrees or so. you should be sitting with a straight back for shoulder press work.

An incline bench is going to hit your chest, shoulders, tris, and maybe your traps indirectly. The shoulder press will hit the same areas, but with less chest. Incline press is between 1 and 89 degrees to floor (most of the time at a 45ish degree angle), shoulder press is at 90 deg. to floor (torso is vertical, pressing the weight overhead).

EDIT: Al got to it before me.

If you want to hit traps, you're going to have to do an exercise that causes your shoulders to rise, or shrug. IE: Shrugs, cleans
