Right now I'm cutting and am drinking a protein shake for 3 of my meals and was wondering if it would be benefitical for me to get a MRP powder? Or would it be fine to just continue to drink a protein shake and eat something with it like below?
I'm just not sure if there is more of a benefit to having a MRP for my meal instead of a protein shake...
Example Meals
Meal 1:
Egg Whites, Toast
Meal 2:
(Post Workout)
Protein Shake
Granola Bar
Meal 3:
Chicken Breast
Rice
Broccoli
Meal 4:
Protein Shake
Banana
Meal 5:
Chicken Breast
Rice
Artichoke
Meal 6 (Before Bed):
Protein Shake
Thanks for any replies..

Reason: none
I'm sure most people on here would prefer you eat whole food as opposed to drinking so many shakes. But, to answer your question, a good quality MRP (complex carbs, fiber, healthy fats) is superior than just downing a whey shake with a banana. The MRP has a spread of vitamins and minerals that you won't get with the whey shake.
Of course $$$ comes into play. You are probably fine to stick with what your doing and just makes sure you take a multi-vitamin and other minerals with your whole meals.
Thanks for the input, Only reason I drink so many shakes is to get my daily protein intake..1 after workout, then 2 more throughout the day. Anyways thanks for answering the question...Repped
