PEA gemma protein only 60 % BV HOW can that be good was whey?

OK i been reading alot into gemma protein and of course you have your people swearing by it and saying its great and no bloat it go bcaas and all the essentials but its only claiming to have a 60 percent bv rating that is not very good........how can it be compared to whey ?....granted it is very che and even cheaper than pure concentrate (not by much if you look around though) but wouldunt you want whey be very superior comapred to the gemma? i understand if you have vegan issues or allergies you would want it but compared to whye isint whey very superior ? anyone have any science to back it up ?

Whey's BV is 100

Soy is 74

Don't know what Pea proteins BV is, but probably closer to soy than whey.

bv is useless. it is most a reflection of digestion time, not quality or overall yield. that is why casein is so low.

the gemma pea ISOLATE has the higher bv.

If a concentrate is available (I have not personally seen one), 60% sounds right.

Im def not even knocking the product but im very curious about it i was looking up various kinds of wheys for a while know and i came to realize that most wheys are all around the same in the long run.some are digested more easily and some cause a lil stomach discomfort and ect but all in all if you can get this gemma stuff for cheaper than plain whey concentrate then i would be so happy but i just dont know anyone who used it and im skeptical on hypee because look how much crap that you see that all claims to be the new lean mass dream muscle builder and you all u get is a rotten stomach no muscle gain and it tastes like shyt to top it off lololol well thanks guys for the help very nice info but has anyone of yous tried it?

Gemma protein sucks anyway; tastes like **** even when flavored with BSL and is nearly impossible to dissolve. I'd rather stick to UP, kthxbai.

hard to dissolve? The legal gear protein dissolves almost instantaneously, no lumps at all.

I don't deal with anything from them, however I had another source that took over 24oz of WARM water to dissolve ONE goddamn scoop. Not to mention, it tasted like ****pipe.

Yes LG's Lipotropic Protein has a not so pleasant taste. It dissolves WELL! Its not making me loose muscle. I tried 52 grams of that stuff once had a stomach ache but thought it was something I ate. Next time I drank 52 grams of that gemma sht I knew that IT was the cause of it! I drink one 26 gram scoop with breakfast and another with a meal later in the day! NO SIDE EFFECTS. Im not sticking with this protein, moving on to something else once Im done with this bottle.

SIDE NOTE: For all you people that say that you wont drink a protein product because of its taste, are either not bodybuilders, nor should you be bodybuilding. Just be a fat boy powerlifter and drink muscle milk.
