Can I get some input on my workout? 3 day cycle no rest?
I workout intense but not heavy.....I go very fast and barely rest between sets.... I have great form and try to lift as much as I can without breaking form....But basically my weights dont go up very much, as I am really moving through my workouts.
I dont lock out - I only squeeze/flex on the last rep or so
My Goal:1. Burn Fat 2. Burn more Fat 3. Look Good/ Be Healthy 4. Build muscle
Chest/Shoulders
I sometimes add burnouts at the end
Flat DB or Bar 4x
DB fly 4x
Decline DB/Bar 4x
Incline Press (Explosive) 4x
Shoulder Press Bar 4x
Upright Row 4x
Shrugs 4x
Raises 4x
Back/Bi's
Single Arm DB Row 4x
Lat Pulldown 4x
Rev Pulldown 4x
Seated Row 4x
Bent Over Bar Row 4x
Legs
Front Squat 4x
Straight Leg Deadlift 4x
Leg Press 4x
Hamstring curl 4x
Calf Raises 4x
Leg Extensions 4x
It's very basic, very simple. It varies slightly from that formula. I dont believe that working out should be too cerebral. My workouts usually last about 45 minutes, give or take....I some times hop on the bike before or after.
The workout fits me. Through my years of working out, this is the workout that I have evolved into. I workout alone, never need a spot and can go to the gym and back home in under an hour.
My main goal is to burn fat.
I just started taking a post workout drink call Blue Thunder from ABB.
I just wanted some feedback as to what people thought of the workout. Pro's and Con's? Can I do it w/o a rest days? Any suggestions as to what else I should do?
Minor or Major tweaks I could implement? Any other considerations I should have?
