How Long To Lose The Loose Skin?

Hi Everyone. Wow this site and the forums have been great and full of info and advice...Anyway, if you read my profile over the past year I have dropped a lot of weight and as you can see in the *blurry* latest progress picture I seem to have a lot more tummy than what I do because of loose skin. I know I still have some bodyfat too and bringing that percent down will help but I really do not want to have surgery if weight training and exercise can help me get rid of it. How long does it normally take for the body's skin to tighten up and what tpyes of work outs if any would be the best for helping that along? Thanks.

Be Blessed.
Jason

Skin's elasticity is a very individually based situation. Genetics plays a very big role in the elasticity of the skin. All I can say is to keep lotion on it, and to build some muscle to help fill it in. Other then that, it is a waiting game that is going to differ in time for everyone.

Loose Skin

Hey bro.

I lost over 300 in a three year period. 535 to 225. But I'm 6'7. Depending on your areas of concern. If You have an inch or two dont worry. But me I had it cosmetically removed. Cost me 7 g's. Well worth the money.

Abdominoplasty they call it. But I was huge though, thats why. Went from a 64 waist to 34. Imagine 30 inches going away. I trained the hell out of my ab's n not much helped. Keep in mind but the extra skin in large excess just stays. With my arms when I run, they flap. Its embarassing n I slow down when I run past people. My side delts look like a webbing even though Im 225.

have a good one, frank
