    Lifting weights at 17yr 5'1 145lbs, yes or no..?

    I don't know if i should start, maybe I'm still growing and this could stunt it. Does anyone have a opinion about this...? Thank you

    ...definitely yes at those stats. You probably look like I used to when I was younger, but you may be a bit taller. I stunted my growth not because of weightlifting, but because of my "diet", so as long as you keep eating and stuff, you'll grow to your potential.

    ever since i started lifting(6 months ago) my height only went up an inch. but my dad is short as hell so thats probably why, and i still got 5 more years to grow anyways

    Honestly. Go to the doctor. See if you can get put on HGH legally. You may be able to grow even taller than your parents. It's expensive, but if deemed necessary, you could get your insurance to cover it.

    if your lifting right then you have no chance of injuring yourself and your growth, make sure you have a good diet with the nutrients you need though.

    you wont see gains if your diet is ****.
