Where did all my leg strength go?? (serious) (rant)
Okay, so during christmas I was first sick for a week, and then on vacation for another where I worked out once on a gym with machines only. Since then I have regained and improved my bench and power clean, but my squat is AWFULLY weak. Before christmas I used to squat 360-380 for a bunch of reps, but now I am only able to do that with 315. It's been like that for two weeks (four squat workouts) and it just makes me mad. I hit PRs in both close grip bench (225x8) and power clean (250x3) this last friday, but when I was squatting today I was STILL only able to do 315 for like 6-7 reps.
Now what? Just gotta keep training I guess?
Cliffs:
lost bout 60 pounds in my squat
hit prs in other lifts
still weak as hell in squat
what to do?

go heavy on squats again, and the strength should come back as quick as it left you

maybe you are trying to overcompensate on your legs now and actually overtraining them?

Don't think so, I've been following the same routine. But maybe overtraining has to do with it anyway, cause I've felt even just using the bar I don't have the same power in my legs.

Maybe if you stopped doing high reps, and dropped to singles or triples you would jump back up .

Happened to me too, bench didnt drop at all squat went down a lot
It will come back though, be patient man
