If you worked for ChaCha GTFIH!!
I have a lawyer friend of mine who is investigating ChaCha for violating the Wage and Hour laws. It looks like ChaCha wrongfully classified every employee as an independent contractor. This was done to try and get around paying minimum wage and overtime.
Recent cases have determined that employees were not independent contractors. SO everyone that worked for ChaCha is probably owed money...
My friend wants talk to anyone that worked for them.

Ya owed money if you made less then min. wage. No one used chacha making less then $6.00 an hour for a lengthy time frame. They probably quit. Therfore the payouts will be small even if the small pool of people who are eligible to receive such compensation a.) know about the claim or b.) want to go thru all that effort
I made close to $17 an hour. In the end making over $5,000
I am interested in however is the tax bracket. Independent contractors are taxed higher I believe.
Not too mention the pages upon pages we all signed upon employment.
Chacha is a million dollar company, they did nothing wrong.

I was doing other sites instead of ChaCha but when Swatcash went down I wanted to work for ChaCha but people said they dont hire anymore and its dead now..

during the summer I was working at night mainly, after 11PM until about 2-3. 15-20 an hour consistently, I have proof from screenies.
during the day time it was around 8-10 an hour consistently. this went on for about 2 months and then they introduced the new pay system and I stopped.
I was doing roughly 15 hours a week.
