I work my triceps on wednesday and my biceps on thursday and i only do every body part once a week is this ok or should i look for twice a week?

You can train your bis and tris directly twice a week. They're a small muscle group so they recover fast.

yes. more training doesnt equal more growth, if u work them hard once a week along with them getting hit from compound exercises, once should be plenty of stimulation. then u have to give them time to grow.
not that there is a completely right and wrong answer here anyway.
yes, u can squat 4-5x a week, but im talking about size training, not strength training. if u want to add size, u need to give ur body time to recover........
and this forum is all about generalizations, when everybody is different, there is no way that what u say can be true for everyone. for the majority of people 1x a week should be plenty for size training.
and no muscle should be worked everyday, that is stupid. abs/calves may recover a bit faster, that doesnt mean they dont need any rest........id say 2x a week on abs/calves is unnescessary but fine once a week for everything else.
