    I only work my biceps and triceps once a week?? is this enough

    I work my triceps on wednesday and my biceps on thursday and i only do every body part once a week is this ok or should i look for twice a week?

    You can train your bis and tris directly twice a week. They're a small muscle group so they recover fast.

    no it's not enough, biceps and triceps are very small muscels and they should be done 2times a week. training should be short and intense (10sets at most)

    I think you can get away with just working it once each week, but I don't know how I feel about a "biceps day". What is your split?

    I only do bis and tris directly once a week. It's OK, as long as you press and row heavy your tris and bis will get enough "accessory" work

    It's enough, but you can do more.

    Abs can be worked pretty much everyday, same with calves.
    You can squat 4-5 times a week comfortably.
    No problem with training arms 2 times a week.

    Stop generalising, if you can get more out of your body, you should.

    yes, u can squat 4-5x a week, but im talking about size training, not strength training. if u want to add size, u need to give ur body time to recover........

    and this forum is all about generalizations, when everybody is different, there is no way that what u say can be true for everyone. for the majority of people 1x a week should be plenty for size training.

    and no muscle should be worked everyday, that is stupid. abs/calves may recover a bit faster, that doesnt mean they dont need any rest........id say 2x a week on abs/calves is unnescessary but fine once a week for everything else.

    what is your routine at the moment? if your not working triceps on directly on chest day so you have an arm day then in fact you are already working your arms twice a week
