I've had Wiifit now since release date, never really much used it, but now im going to embark on a quest to lose weight with it lol, If i use it 30mins every day surely with the correct diet i will begin to lose weight!
I'd use wiifit along with a lifting programme, and i'll mainly use musle workouts on the game.

If you dont workout at all and have your diet sorted you will lose weight.
Diet is the key.
Enjoy yourself for the health benefits."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Just play the Hula hoop game for hours and hours on end, or play the boxing game that's part of the included Wii Sports game, non-stop.. and you'll burn some energy.
If you've already done your more vigorous training for the day and it's a choice of two hours of TV watching, internet, or playing Wii, go for the Wii. it counts as non-exercise activity.
