Post your Grocery List!
I know we all have various foods we put into our daily diet, but I was curious as to what everyone has on their list when they go shopping at the grocery store. It seems, especially lately, that our cupboards at home have been relatively bare, save for some processed dry and canned goods. (Eek!)
We did go grocery shopping today, so it's better. Bell pepper, cucumber, lettuce, some ground beef (we still have frozen turkey from Thanksgiving, so less chicken for now)....
I am missing my avocados... Definitely putting that on the grocery list.
So! What do you buy at the store for your needs? And does it change much depending on bulk time or cut time?

My BF is eating 3000-4000 calories a day right now, so we buy A LOT of food since we both prepare all our meals from home instead of going out for lunch and what not. I always feel like we get weird looks at the grocery store when were buying our produce, exp when we're both having apples for the week or something, we end up buying 14 of them! lol
We buy meat when it's on sale and freeze it so we don't always buy that weekly. The majority of our list is fresh fruits and veggies and some frozen veggies, low fat dairy (skim milk, greek yogart, cottage cheese and string cheese for him), high protein/fiber cereals, lots of eggs, ww wraps and lots of seltzer water.

I buy groceries only once a month so I stock up pretty heavily on the following....
dried mushrooms
5 pound bag of shredded cheese
frozen spinach
olive oil and butter
romaine hearts
salad dressing
sliced meat
Brussel sprouts
frozen strawberries
peanut butter
I have 13 avocado trees, so these are rolling around free by the thousands everywhere here.
I have a mac nut tree, so these are also free.
I have a coffee farm with roughly 2200 trees, so this of course is also free.
I trade coffee for free-range, grass fed steak--free.
I get eggs from my chickens, but I sell those because the thought of eating them makes me nauseous. So I prefer to buy the eggs that grow on trees instead. :P

Pretty close to what you've seen...
Bananas
Apples
Blueberries
Grapefruit
Asparagus
Brussell Sprouts
Egg Whites
Oatmeal (in the summer)
Lean Chicken (A LOT)
Lean/Light Tuna Packs ("in water")
Best advice I ever got with grocery shopping is to not buy your food from the aisles of a gracery store. Aisles= processed food.
Hope this helps and good luck!

These are my staples, though my list is definitely longer than this:
Canned tuna, turkey breast, free range eggs, lowfat cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt.
Almond milk, almonds/almond butter, avocadoes, half and half (organic, for coffee/tea), coconut (made into coconut kefir), peanut butter, walnuts, flaxseed.
Greens supplement, fibre supplement, coconut flour, omega-3 supplement, VEGA meal replacement just in case I'm in a crunch...
Berries, pineapple, apples, pumpkin, cranberries.
Sweet potatoes, oat bran, rye bread.
And also whey protein, casein protein, and buckwheat protein.
I think that just about sums it up!

Wow! Thanks everyone, for posting your lists! This helps a great deal. I'll be sure to figure out a good list to present for the next grocery run, for sure.
I miss my avocados... o.o LOTS. *sigh*
I guess it wouldn't hurt to look in my book on how various fruits and veg affect health functions in the body, too.
Okay. Got some rep points tossed to some of y'all. Gonna have to wait for the rest.
