2 low carb days a week - good/bad ?

Hey guys, i've seen this kind of technique in a few magazines and wanna give it a try.

I am trying to put on 6lb by March yet at the same time, eliminate the midsection.

Is this constructive to my goal or should i just bulk to 250 and then cut down ?

I eat pretty clean btw.
