gift ideas?
my coffee guy is a bodybuilder and professional boxer and always hooks me up with free chai lattes and gave me a body building book...so i really want to get him a thoughtful thank you present. what would be a good thing to get him that isn't ridiculously priced (something he can use...he has a boxing match coming up)? i normally get people sprinkles cupcakes or wine but that wouldn't be doing him any favors. thanks for any ideas

Kinda odd he's a BB'er and a boxer. They're two different types of training with very different goals. . .
Don't try to get him boxing gear. Your gloves, mouthpiece, etc are kinda personal and it's hard to find quality stuff at your local sporting goods store.
Boxing memorabelia is a good gift, though. Like a cool fight poster or autographed stuff. Ali is basically supporting himself these days by autographing stuff, it's not hard to find a pair of gloves from him.
Find out who his favorite fighter is and get him a book about him. If he likes Jack Johnson there's a really good 2hr DVD about him.
