Can you use eggs after the expiration date on the carton brahs? I found some I didn't know I had and the expiration date is Dec.21st,2008. Would it be safe to eat these bad boys? Hard boiling them ATM and want to know before I get going.
I've read about 3 different things about them. One says you can eat them 3 weeks after the expiration date, the other says its bad and one told some kind of test they done with floating an egg or somethin lol...
plz help brahs

use the old floaty sinky trick.
Fill a shaker bottle with water and drop an egg into it (gently obviously)
A fresh egg will lie on it's side, a dubious egg will stand on end (which is a judgement call on your part as to whether you're gonna use it), a totally dodgy egg will float.

I would just buy new eggs though.http://www.EarthEmperor.com << "Daniel Kemp 4 Earth Emperor!"

I just read on http://www.agr.state.il.us/programs/...consguide.html eggs can be fine up to 7 weeks if stored correctly. I think im fine, thanks for the response though, bro.
Just done this test. They sink. I shouldn't even had to do it considering I got eggs boiling right now. lulz ty brah..
I'm going to buy new eggs but I don't want to waste a whole carton.
They passed the float test. Now, lets try this one. Think it'd still smell even after boiled? or do I need to crack a new one?I'm red because a mod negged me for posting Raven Riley n00dz.
