    Anyone weigh themself every day during cut?

    I know they say to weigh yourself once a week at the same time and day. How about every day? I like to see the weigh drop by the decimals. Is it just me lol.

    It doesn't tend to drop everyday, ( Weight Loss is not linear ). More often then not if you weigh yourself everyday you will see fluctuations of your weight going up and down. It can be discouraging at times but you need to just look for a downward trend.

    Water, glycogen stores, food in your GI tract all contribute to daily fluctuations of ~5 lbs. Which is why it is recommended to just weigh yourself once a week.

    Better yet, ditch the scale and take body measurements once a week.

    Your weight fluctuates every day, so I don't really see any reason to weigh yourself every day.

    yes.

    take measurements every day and then you can calculate your average week over week weight loss.... the more data, the better.

    if my average isn't where i need it to be, i adjust calories accordingly.

    That is what I am doing too. Even though I weigh myself everyday, I got by the number which I loss each week on average.

    Not every day, but every couple of days I'll check out my progress.
    Tip to Lose Weight:
    Using only your head, look left.
    Now look right.
    Now repeat exercise as many times as necessary when offered food.

    I've recorded my weight every day since 1st November 2011.

    I do seem to fluctuate 2-3lb.

    I'm at my longest plateau at the moment - and it sucks.

    I stick to weekly simply for the fact that the day-to-day variations put me in the mindset that I'm making smaller and/or no progress at all. However, what keeps you the most motivated is what will be your best formula.
