New Flex cover for Feb 09'

This sport is called bodybuilding and if we're not building our bodies, what is there to see? Shucks, you want to see some small symmetrical guys, then turn on the TV and watch Survivor or Fear Factor. -Ronnie Coleman

Used to buy Flex then stopped after reading the same ol' rehashed crap from the previous years issues lol.

But the top cover looks pretty cool, the other 2 not so much..
''There’s this battle over waterboarding at places like Guantanamo Bay. I think that they should just say, “Hey, if you guys don’t talk, you have to see Hercules In New York.” I guarantee those guys would talk much faster. You don’t need to do waterboarding or anything else. That’s the ultimate threat.''

I like flex, like I said in another thread, its got good pictures!!!

I think they should do more bodybuilder bio's, look into more people, up and comers, people who are currently pro's, etc. Get a better look at there routines, better interviews. I think that would boost the interest in them alot more.... I actually think this issue was a little better, the Flex interview was cool to read.

Seems like the ads and rehashed routines take up every magazine.

But, back to the cover, Flex looks great in this issue, I like his style and he bulked up big time. I think he is going to look amazing this year.

Agreed, someone who looks great alone, but when you put him next to someone he's not quite as impressive, especially if he's competing in the open.

Yea MD does a better job with the pic quality of the athletes, one that really stands out would be March 08' of Dexter and Victor they looked really thick and conditioned

yeah they messed up as usual. they even put gustavo on the cover a few issues back when they could have put the X man on it at that time. all because they said thats what the majority of the group study voted for.
