    VJB or Me?

Well I started Phase 1 of the Plyometrics routine with the VJB..

I did upper body work today first, and did several supersets and then did that post workout
But I only got 3/4 way through it and I had to stop... Granted I'm kind of pissed I didnt push myself, cuz now thinking of it I could have finished..

But is the plyos workout something you have to take a few go-rounds to transition into? Or did everyone else find it easy, and I'm just out of shape as hell?? I havent done any real plyos in about 5 months, but I do cardio 4-5 times weekly, and do sprint work as well...

I will make sure I finish when I do it on thursday, I could have today if I pushed myself a little harder, but damn it was still tough?? Anyone else find it tough?

ya its pretty damn tough when you start out. im doing the intermediate strength program and the whole workout when i first started kicked my ass. now im on week 13 and i still feel it being difficult but not as much as i started. what i also do is that i do upper body workouts monday, wednesday, and friday, then legs on tuesday, thursday, and saturday. this way you have more energy to do the leg workouts.

i plan on doing WSFSB III with vjb as well, im going to do the intermediate plyo program 2 times a week along with the 4 days of lifting, so do you think i should do it after upper body lifts then? or after lower body so i have more time to recover, i just think plyos after squats would be pretty hard haha

h/o, so you were doing the upperbody lifting provided by the
VJB? Or you just did the plyos? if just the plyos, why was it tough.

well i did air alert before which is plyos and then after i finished with that program i rested for about a month and then started vjb and it was pretty tough doing plyos. im thinking it may be targeting different muscle in the leg, just my thoughts on it

No I just did the plyos... Tough for me, because I have never incorporated an actual plyo routine before, and I was just getting real dead legged.

Make sure you are doing the right program. Don't do the Advanced workout if you are a novice.....
