Question Help with 12 week transformation?

Ok here's the thing....
I want to get a big jumpstart towards my fitness and I figure setting myself a deadline to make some big changes may actually help me to succeed.

I am 5'8", 184.4lbs (as of this morning), roughly 30% BF(according to my scale, which I do not trust).

I am following a high protien, low fat diet but I am still unsure what will help me see the most results. My training consists of weight training 5x per week and cardio 6x per week.
Keep in mind I only started this routine yesterday.....

I need help in terms of training, supplimentation, and diet. I work out at home with free weights/bands, I have a stationary bike and German Shepherd that I was running with back in the summer.

In June I was down to 160lbs and looking better everyday, then I lost my job and all my motivation. I then ballooned back up to the 190's and I am struggling to get back in shape, not only for looks but for my health. My cholesterol is up and my diabeties is coming back, so it is very important for me to get a big jump on things.

I'd also like to know what are some reasonable goals for 12 weeks and what I can do to see the biggest change in my body and over all health.

Thanks in advance,
DeAnna

I think most people will need more information on your diet to help. A high protein, low fat diet is saying much...you still need to consume 500 less calories than maintenance level to shed a healthy amount of fat each month. Did you read the transformation articles posted on bb.com? Their a good place to start to get your diet in check.

I have read numerous articles here and across the internet.
I was hoping to get to talk with someone one on one to help me better understand.

I wasn't specific about my diet because frankly, I don't really know
I am eating 5-6 times a day, consisting of lean meat, veggies, protien shakes, etc. A gallon of water and no other drinks whatsoever!

I guess what I am looking for is some real world goals and how to achieve them. The whole point in my post was to gain more information on exactly what another individual would suggest to see the most improvement in 12 weeks.

Did I choose the wrong thread?

I'm no expert, but I can at least give you a couple things to look at.

I think the "realistic" goal that most people say is 1-2 lbs per week you can safely lose.

Look into HIIT for cardio, and then you can visit www.hotnfit.com for more info on strength stuff.
