How much protein do I need to build muscle mass effectively?

I am 22 years old, 5'11" 167lbs with a pretty low bf%. I read somewhere it should be around 200g? Is this right?

    Thanks

    Well some will say 1g
But I think most would be ok with 1.5-2g per pound of BW.

I'm a firm believer to build muscle you want to maintain a positive nitrogen balance... thus for every kg of body weight... you want on average 2.56-2.76 g of protein.

Tarnopolasky et al say 1.0-1.8 g / kg BW is sufficient.

The RDA is .8g / kg of BW
