arcade machines
Anyone here own an arcade machine?
Im looking into getting one, current top 3 im considering:
1: MK3
2. street fighter Alpha
3. nfl blitz 2000

obviously its just a thing to have. I grew up playing the games at the arcade. Something to do with friends and stuff. Im trying to find a good used one.

damn found one for $400(street fighter alpha) needs some work but i work with some pretty good mechanics who would prolly fix it for a case of beer.

They really aren't that expensive to buy or fix them overall.
Parts are readily available from some online sites and other collectors for very reasonable prices.
If you plan on buying a few, it's a great hobby. I'd reccomend it.
Here is a picture of a few of mine:
EDIT: I forgot to mention, there is nothing like dropping a quarter in and playing these games on an actual cabinet. A computer or console doesn't even compare.

not car mechanics, industrial air compressor technicians. alot of new technology has them working on electrical boards and contacts/relays etc.

I have a friend who makes these. He puts on every game you can think of (genesis, snes, playstation, arcade games, etc) with the full cabinet/joystick pad. Only costs like $500

I had an arkanoid bartop machine I just chucked out. Burn in on the screen and the spinner was broken. Loved that thing tho
