"One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like an infantile retard." -Mike Tyson

My uncle has two Presa Canarios. He uses them for hunting, work, and guard purposes. They're a hell of a breed...my three year old nephew can walk up to it and pet it with no problems, but they can get very aggressive when they need to. I'm about to pick up two pups on my own, as a matter of fact.
The only problem is, you need to find a good breeder, and you need to train it properly while it's a pup."Courage without a conscience is a wild beast."-Robert G. Ingersoll

you can have my mutt(lab/sheperd/pit/???? mix)
my nieghbors foo foo dog(idk what it was, some 10 pound shag haired rat) was sniffing around our porch last night and i was walkin out to take my dog for a walk, i didnt even know it was there, i opened my door and my dog lunged and chomped down on the other dogs face, the other dog wiggled and got away, thank god i had my dog on a leash, idk what happened to the other dog, hope its ok since i dont train my dog to be aggressive, shes just really protective, there is a few clumps of hair on my porch and inside my house.
so, in other words, get whatever dog you want, just cuz you buy a rott/pit whatever, it doesnt matter, you have to train it, or your just gonna have a POS dog thats just going to run away if you let it out

Training is the key in any dog, especially for a dog that you want to have as a watch dog. Training is a huge key in any type of dog but especially for those that you depend on to be aggressive towards those you dont know but friendly towards everyone else. Another big factor is the environment you live in. If you are going to give the regular exercise you cant more aggressive higher energy dogs and they will be your best friend and the worst enemy to any intruder.
