any info on Hydrolyzed 520 from protein factory?
i have tried the Hydrolyzed 520 about 4 years ago and it was soo bad tasting it was literally impossible to drink alone. I would mix half a scoop with a scoop and a half of whey isolate and it was still prety bad lol . Well i only bought one pound of the stuff and i dont remember if it did anything special but im looking for something new is this protein any better than hydrolyzed isolate from all the whey? the all the whey brand i would have one scoop and one scoop isolate. does anyone have any info on these so called super proteins or am i better off with just ons whey blend ?

For me it's a high quality company and product although they had bad reputation in the past.

I'm not a fan of hydrolyzed whey. Although they are further broken down into peptides for quicker delivery, they are heat-treated and pre-digested and this process can destroy/denature some of the important biological subfractions including growth factors and immunoglobulins. To me, (regular) whey does a fine job and not worth the upgrade. If you do decide to invest in hydrolyzed whey, I recommend PeptoPro. I would contact the supplier (Protein Factory, All The Whey) to find out the % of hydrolysis as it can vary significantly.

No worries. It's good to have those things in a protein. What I said was that the process of hydrolysis strips away some of it. Nothing detrimental. It's like saying the process of preparing/cooking vegetables strips away some important nutrients.

IMO buying hydrolyzed protein isn't worth the money, just get whey concentrate, but if you want the best protien look up progenex

thanks for the words guys. but wouldunt u be getting more for your buck because of the absorption rate? wouldunt taking say 25 grams of isolate 15 grams of miccellar casein and 15 grams of hydro whey be better than just taking reg isolate alone or with casien?
