Special Operations Warrior Foundation

Hey,

My brother is a Midshipman at the Naval Academy and is planning on running the Arrowhead 135 to honor fallen Special Operators from all services and their families. On February 2, 2009, he will be running 135 miles in -20F to -40F in northern Minnesota, pulling a sled with all his food and gear. He and his buddy are trying to raise $10,000 for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. So far they have raised $3,450. The foundation gives money to the families of Special Operations personnel who were killed in combat or in training. The majority of the money goes to the children so they have the opportunity to go to college. My brother has a website explaining the race and foundation. I have enough experience with the OP, and some direct contact with his brother, to confirm that this is "for real". Don't get scared off by the $100+ donations already there - a bunch of smaller donations would still add up to help these families and this cause.
