BeingJ9 Working Day and Night

I did my workout on NYE2008 and NYD2009. Both went great. Nothing out of the ordinary is twingy. A little DOMS in my butt though.

NYE and NYD were very similar workouts. Usually I workout with a my PT. When he is not around I do whatever. I have learned to do PUSH PULLS, bi sets and tri sets. I try to follow the order he has me workout in. I start the new year with him on January 5, 2009.

WEIGHT 384.6
BF 55.8

I finally got a scale that I think I trust. The max is 440 pounds. I am not above 400 anymore, so I think the scale will be accurate. The scale also measures BF. So I can get both numbers. The scale looks well built.

RDL - 225 5 x 10
Wide Grip Bench, Hammerstrength - 180 5 x 10
High Pulls, Hammerstrength - 180 5 x 10
Leg Press, Hammer Strength - 360 5 x 10
Leg Extension, Hammer Strength - 50 5 x 10
Sumo DeadLifts, Hammer Strength - 270 5 x 10

Good lift. Felt STRONG. I need gloves for my RDL's. I need to warm up a little first. I need to change times with Jason starting asap to the evenings. So I can get in and warm up for a couple of minutes. ANYTHING. And so I can stay late and do cardio AFTER my workout. WARM UP - something basic. Depends on what we are doing. Push ups, deep knee bends holdingthe HS Squat rack.

Drink Mix was 1 scoop of PROTEIN, 6 scoops Xtend, 1 scoop Vasotech
1 scoop Carb Slam, 32oz of water.

TIME 4pm. Busy. But it was New Years. So folks were getting in that first workout of the year.

1/2/2009 Cardio

I did cardio this morning. First time in my APT complex gym. It was about 7am. There are regs in there. I will have to get used to that. Its an OK little set up. One of the eliptcal machines is a little quirky. I will have to get used to that. There is a dumbell set up in there. It would be cool to get in cardio and a good pump in my chest and arms first thing in the morning. UI would look a lot stronger in the morning. Especially since I want to put my workout after work instead of during lunch.

I just did 11 minutes. That felt good. I could have gone on a lot longer. But my pace was only 50rpm. I have to get into a HIIT training mindset. I think I can do that. I dont think I can get into the 100 rpm range. But I think I can hit 60rpm and hold it for a minute without cardiac arrest.

Morning Glory

I got up LATE, not till 9. UGH.

I need to do cardio in the morning. So I got to it.

I did 16 minutes. Burned 100 calories. I know. I am working on getting my intensity up. The eliptical in the apt complex workout room is a bit worn. I have mine in the garage. Its 10 years old and still better then what they have. I may have to set up my office for cardio this weekend.

EXTEND - 6 scoops, VASOCharge - 1 scoop. NEed to start drinking that about 20 minutes before the cardio. I need to contact scivation and see the potency changes if I use HOT water. Hot extend in the morning would be GREAT.

There is a good set of dumbells in there. I like those a lot. The grip is NOT smooth, so I dont need to wear gloves. They look barely used. I will change that.

I just weighed myself and got a bf reading. 382pounds, and 55.2 bf. That works for me. I entered them in the progress charts.

I did not SNACK while I made a meal. I had a salmon burger, steamed brocoli, and a sliced up avacado. salmon burger was 170 calories. 2g of fat. 2 cups of brocoli, 1 large haas. The first avacado was over ripe - HATE THAT, so I through it out. The second one was not quite ripe - PERFECT. Its easier to handle.

I eat again in 2 hours. WOW.
